They call it the Turbo Design Edition, and it’s got serious throwback vibes. The body’s in Alpine White, with hand-painted BMW M stripes on the hood and trunk. The roof gets stripes too, and the power dome (that bulge on the hood) gets a black treatment with the reversed “Turbo” script — just like the original 2002 Turbo.

Under the hood, nothing changes from the regular M2. It still runs BMW’s 3.0-litre straight six — 467 bhp and 406 lb-ft — and delivers 0 to 60 in about 4.1 seconds. Top speed is 155 mph unless you add the M Driver’s Pack, which nudges it to 177 mph.

The inside gets touches that match the exterior flair: carbon trim, “Turbo” badging, bucket seats, and a heads-up display. Of course, it’s still got the six-speed manual. No paddle shifters here.

Price starts at USD 82,900, plus roughly USD 1,175 for delivery. As with most special editions, BMW isn’t saying exactly how many they’ll build.

This is going to be a collector’s toy for the driving purists — a full-on homage to BMW’s past, but with modern muscle.

Like all KW suspension systems, the V4 is built to order in Germany and designed to boost both performance and comfort.

The V4 kit is a three-way adjustable system, giving drivers control over high-speed compression, low-speed compression, and low-speed rebound. This tech is directly inspired by the suspension KW originally developed for the BMW M4 GTS.

With the V4 installed, the M5 Touring can be lowered by 10 to 30 millimeters on both the front and rear axles, thanks to the aluminum spring struts with a trapezoidal thread design. The system doesn’t just improve stance—it sharpens handling, reduces body roll, and keeps ride quality sporty but comfortable.

The dampers feature 13 settings for low-speed and high-speed compression and 16 settings for low-speed rebound, allowing drivers to fine-tune handling for everything from daily driving to aggressive track use. Adjustments can make the car more stable in corners, improve steering response, or soften the ride for comfort.

When upgrading to the KW V4, a cancellation kit is included to disable the stock adaptive damper control, while keeping all other BMW driver assistance features active.

The KW V4 coilover suspension kit is available now for the BMW M5 Touring (G99). KW also confirmed that height-adjustable springs for the M5 Touring will be released soon.
